Last trip...to winterize!

You know Bear Lake season is over when it's time to winterize the trailer. We were entertained by teaching Cal and Ann how to bowl on the wii. Is his tongue helping him concentrate?

Surprisingly the weather was beautiful for it being October. But not warm enough to actually swim.
We enjoyed throwing the frisbee around. Carter still pushing the dump truck everywhere he goes!

Cousins...

All the cousins on my side:
Josh, Bridger, Carter, Lexi, Logan and Hailey
(there is another cousin on the way, due in December) Can hardly wait!
They only get to see each other about once a year. Hopefully my brothers will move closer when they are done with school.

My sister in law went to visit my parents while she was here this summer, so I asked her if Carter could tag along. He loves being with Lexi. It's so cute how they hold hands and get along so well.





Carter made good memories! He still talks about how he went all by himself, without me.

LAGOON!!

Lagoon was always a tradition when I was little, and now it's a tradition for my kids! My mom and dad came down for the day and Jonathan and Daija and her family were also there.



Josh, Nana, Carter and Hailey on The Tidal Wave. They did this over and over. It turned out to be Carters favorite ride. There were a lot of rides that Carter wanted to do, but he was an inch too short for the big rides. He will have to wait until next year.

Has anybody been to Lagoon when it's "frightmares"? Think we might try that next year.

12th bday party!

These girls partied so hard, that by the end of the night they were getting very silly!!

We had planned to roast hot dogs and s'mores, but since it rained liked cats and dogs, we ended up playing games inside. The girls still had a great time together.

I can't believe Hailey is 12!! Jr. High, Young Womens, cell phone....so many life changing things happening to her right now. Boys, zits, cramps. :) (She's going to love me for saying that)
I remember shopping for clothes for Hailey when she was a baby and thinking it will be forever before she is into those "big" clothes. I'm now shopping the Jr. department. WIERD! It did happen, and actually it happened quite fast!
Happy Birthday! You're turning into quite a beautiful young lady! We love you!

We spent Haileys bday....where else....Bear Lake...Of course!!


My parents and Jonathan & Daija came to celebrate as well. We had a fun time in the boat and
Mike enjoyed giving my mom an awesome tube ride! If you think your going to go on a nice kiddie ride when Carter is on the tube, YOUR WRONG! That kid loves it so much. He's my little thrill seeker.
Then we had more company stop by to visit. GG, Leon and Pam! We convinced them to stay for dinner and really enjoyed visiting with them.

After dinner, we rode the 4-wheelers to the beach. Looks like my dad is having a great time playing in the sand. I think we still are all kids at heart.

After the beach, we did cake and ice cream and surprised Hailey with a cell phone for her bday! It was funny! Mike actually gave her his dads very old flip phone first, then gave her the "real" phone. All along Hailey has said she didn't want a flip phone, so the look on her face was priceless!

Summer at Bear Lake

We are so proud of Hailey and Josh for learning how to wakeboard this year and Carter for skiing! The summer season is coming to an end at the lake, and again, we have made many fun memories.

When the cousins gets together, it's party time. Hailey and Danielle are turning into the best of cousins! They actually went to dinner with their hair like this. Funny girls!

Idaho visit!

We finally had a chance to take a trip to Idaho! The kids were so excited. It's been a year since our last visit. Shame on me! Carter loved helping papa pick radishes from the garden. Here they are cleaning them...

And here's Carter taking a big drink after trying the radishes and deciding that he didn't like them. Papa also taught Carter how to "watch the grass grow." He's still trying to figure out why papa enjoys this so much. :)
Josh had been learning to play the guitar. He was showing Nana and she was showing him some stuff too. After a while he was more interested in playing with Nana's new i-phone.
Enjoying a nice night roasting hot dogs and smore's.
I took the kids to Tautphaus Park so they could drive their remotes around. There were a lot of kids saying, "I know what I want for Christmas. "

Our Idaho trip would not be complete without an adjustment from my dad. Joshua is the only one that is "brave" enough to get it done.
Another night roasting hot dogs with the whole "gang". The kids had a great time meeting & playing with their 2nd cousins.




Hopefully it won't be another year before our next visit. We love you! Thanks for such a great time and spoiling my kids rotten!
