SANTA, I WANT...

Well, the malls are so busy and the lines are so long but you have to see Santa no matter what. As we got in the line to visit with Santa, Mike said, "are you sure we want to do this?" Well, isn't that why we came? We only waited for 30 minutes. Carter didn't even hesitate. He knows that Santa is going to bring him a motorcycle bike and a helmet. I'm very excited for Christmas this year. We are getting together with Mikes family on Sunday, then on Monday with my family and then Tuesday It's Christmas!! Since my parents are empty nesters, they are going to stay and have Christmas with us. It will be lots of fun!! Can't wait to see everybody!! Happy Holidays!!

Holiday Baking Has Begun....

I got a KitchenAid Mixer for Christmas. I know... I opened it early. I'm wondering how I've lived without this. Hailey is my little helper with everything!! She got me this apron for Mothers Day and we wear them all the time. Mine says Domestic Diva and hers says Diva in Training. How appropriate.

Carter was only helping because he liked playing in the flour.

Sledding!

We took the kids over to the park to go sledding. Hailey and Josh found a jump that kept them busy, and Carter just wanted to go fast. It was a lot of fun!! We can't wait to go to Bear lake over New Years and take them on a really big hill in Logan Canyon.

We love the snow!!

We got hit with so much snow last week that Mike got his snowmobile out and took the kids for rides around the neighborhood! They thought that was great!

Another Visit to Idaho!

I helped a lady do a Scentsy party in Idaho a couple of weeks ago. Any excuse we have to go and visit Nana and Papa. Carter is Papa's right hand man. Papa never gets to relax when Carter is around.

He loves you this much.....

We took the kids to Tautphaus Park to play on this cool swing set that Papa takes them to. We told them it was way to cold to go, but they insisted it is the best place to play.

We also took the kids to Bowl-ero. I signed them up for lessons when they were off track, so they wanted to show Nana and Papa how much they had improved. But, I think they were more interested in the video games.

The Big Boys!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving the big boys wanted to go to the Sand Dunes and go 4-wheeling. The girls (Lori, Kristy, Tiffani, Danielle, Hailey and I) decided that it was to cold, so we ended up going to see the movie Enchanted! We thought it was a very cute movie. The Sand Dunes ended up being a guy ride and WOW was Josh sooooo excited!! I can't believe he is big enough to go with dad on guy rides. He came home and couldn't stop talking about the jumps and the bowls. It was a very fun time for him and a proud moment for dad. The picture is blurry, but I couldn't believe the air he got on that jump. He's only 6!!

Thanksgiving Day!

I thought I better hurry and catch up on things before Christmas is here. We had a great Thanksgiving Day with the Stringham's this year. After the big meal all the men fell asleep. MMM...Funny how that happens.... The couch was taken with C.J, Grandpa had the chair, Mike and Josh had the other chair, so Cal layed on the chairs at the table. What ever works:) After the dishes were done and the men woke from their naps, we went to the see the movie Fred Claus. After the movie, we went to Lori's for dessert. We had so much food left over that on Friday we got together again to finish the left overs. It was a great time.

Pink Extentions!

What!! My little is growing up way way way to fast. Her friends Aunt was having a grand opening for her new salon on Saturday. Hailey went with them and came home with a couple of pink extentions in her hair. She really thinks she is cool.

But I told her that Halloween was over??

Big Blue or Money Pit??

Well, After a month in the shop and all our money gone :( We finally got the truck back. We had to replace the whole motor. Mike changed the name of the truck from Big Blue to Money Pit!! It was a sad day. Mike and the boys spend most of the day Saturday cleaning it up. They washed it, vacuumed it, cleaned the dash and scrubbed the tires back to a nice shine. Mike thought once it was clean, he might like it again. Boys and their toys!!

A visit to Idaho

Mom held an open house Scentsy party for me, which turned out to be very successful!!
Thanks MOM!!

While we were there I took the kids to Uncle Leon to get their pictures taken. He got some great pictures of the kids playing in the leaves. I snapped a few for all to see.

Halloween

I loved that Halloween wasn't too cold to go trick or treating. I thought Carter would just do a few houses, but he went around the whole neighborhood with Hailey and Joshua. There were some houses that scared him, but they also scared Hailey. He did however have to sleep with his candy. We also took the kids to Thanksgiving Point and went to cornbellys. There were corn mazes, cow train rides, a pig race, jumping trampolines, duck races--- It was a few hours of fun for the kids and crazy for Mike.
