Kinderbear!

Carter could hardly wait for Kinderbear to come home with him. He got to spend one day and one night at our house. Carter got all his animals out to "meet" Kinderbear. He wanted Kinderbear to have new friends. (Kind of reminds me of E.T.)
Before school they played superhero's and Kinderbear got to wear the cape.
I emailed the teacher the pictures and then she reads what Carter wrote in the journal about their adventures. It's a pretty fun thing for a kindergartener.
Happy St. Patricks Day!
That sneaky little leprechaun turned our milk green. Nobody will drink it now!

And our pancakes are green too....eeeewwwww!
At least the leprachaun left a pot of gold in everybody's room and some delicious cupcakes on the counter!
May the luck of the Irish last all year long!

Joshua's Birthday!

What in the world was I thinking when I told Josh he could have a sleepover for his birthday!!!
Boys are much crazier than girls!
Danny, Joshua, Justin,
Spencer, Tanner & Connor.

The famous chocolate e-claire cake that I have to make for everybodys birthday! M..M...good!
Josh and Carter LOVE LEGOS!! It keeps them busy and quiet!
An awesome tornado kit from nana and papa.
Thanks Gallacher's for the dart set. Now I have darts EVERYWHERE! But sure thankful there are two guns so the boys can't fight over it. :)
Little Leah wants the soccer ball too!
Can hardly believe it has been 10 years since Josh came into our home! He enjoys legos, wii, his traxxas, scouts, karate and LOVES to play soccer. He has ruined countless pants because of soccer. He is very tender hearted and loves to give BIG HUGS! He leaves messes everywhere he goes, but I love him anyway!

Bowling Party Celebration!

For Ann's Birthday and Cal's Retirement, the family got together for a PARTY at the bowling alley!
Pizza, breadsticks, salad, pop, bowling, family, & fun...What more could you ask for?

Josh got a STRIKE!

Go Mr. C!

Carter and Ricki enjoying some delicious breadsticks!
It was a war between Joni and I for the high game, but phew, I pulled it off. :)

Hailey and Leah.
Another fun time had by all!

Fun times at Bear Lake in February!

MMMMM....What is that on your head?
Here are the kids playing a game that Carter got for his birthday.

Poor dog... he has to play too!

Our neighbor happened to be at Bear Lake and brought a lot of apples for the deers to eat. He threw them all over the yard and the kids had a great time watching the deer.

Taking grandma for ride on the snowmobile. HOLD ON!
Man, that dog puts up with a lot! Now he has to go sledding??
Carter getting ready to go down the hill.
WOW! That is a mighty big hill. Lucky for the kids they don't have to walk back up it. They just wait for us to pick them up on the snowmobile.

This is the view from the top of Logan Canyon. Where is the lake? It is under all the clouds! It was a beautiful site!

Carters 6th Bday!

WOO HOO!!
A new BIKE!

My parents gave this balloon to Carter, and two months later....it's still floating in his room. :)
My mom also sang the birthday song to Carter that my Grandpa King would sing to us. AAHHH....memories and a tear to my eye.

This superman cape that Aunt Lori made for Carter also works as a bib for grandpa! hahahaCarter definitely acts older than a 6 year old. Is that because he has older sibling? He NEVER stops talking and ALWAYS wants to be playing with a friend. He doesn't like watching movies, because that means he has to be quiet and sit still. How dare I ask him to do that. He is learning to read and write and LOVES playing the wii. So grateful for our MR. C!!

Carter loses his 1st tooth!

To our amazement, Carter tried everything to get his tooth out. (A complete opposite of Hailey!)
He wanted to hook the floss to his tooth and then drive his remote control.

Well, that didn't work. Carter then thought we could hook the floss to Ty's tail, throw a ball and have him chase it. That didn't work either. After multiple times of trying, he wanted to take a break. But, then right before bed he wanted to try again. Mike finally got the floss to hook on his tooth and this is what happened....

We laughed when Carter thanked Mike for pulling his tooth. He was just so sick of it "bugging" him.

Here he is showing Max (the elf) his tooth, so he could fly off and tell Santa.
I just love the excitement in kids.
A week later, he lost his 2nd tooth. He pulled it out on his own on the way to our friends house.
One day while driving in the car, Carter started saying the theme for his school.
I had no idea that he knew this. The older hadn't even learned it. (Carter has now taught them.)
What an awesome kindergarten teacher for teaching this. They say this at the beginning of school everyday.
