BEAR LAKE WITH MOM AND DAD!!

I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WHEN MOM TOLD ME DAD TOOK 2 DAYS OFF OF WORK TO GO TO BEAR LAKE. COME TO FIND OUT IDONNA, DADS SECRETARY, WAS GOING ON VACATION AND THAT MEANT MOM HAD TO WORK THE FRONT DEST. SO, INSTEAD OF DOING THAT SHE TOLD HIM HE WAS GOING TO TAKE THOSE DAYS OFF TOO. WE KNOW WHO WEARS THE PANTS IN THE FAMILY!!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! WE SHOWED THEM HOW TO PLAY REAL HARD.

MOMS FAVORITE THING TO DO NOW IS GO FOR A TUBE RIDE! SHE SAID IT IS BETTER THAN ANY RIDE AT LAGOON. AT FIRST MIKE GAVE HER A NICE LITTLE RIDE AND THEN SAID, "DON, CAN I THROW HER OUTSIDE THE WAKE?" "SURE" WAS DADS REPLY....

AND THE REST IS HISTORY!

4th of July!

I had to change the background

to go along with our summer at Bear Lake!!!!! :)

It was a weekend full of excitement, adventure,

cousins having sleep overs, staying up late, Wii parties

and a crowd of people!!

We hated to see this weekend go by so fast......

Joshua skiing for the first time and I'm actually wake boarding!!

Thursday was a gorgeous day out on the lake! The water is actually 69 degrees! We couldn't believe it! Yes, that is warm for Bear Lake! We played in the lake from 1-7p. Uncle Cal helped Joshua ski! He got up on his second try! We were all cheering him on! Hailey had to take it easy since she just got her cast off, but hopefully the next time she can do it! Friday we decided to pack a lunch and go on the 4-wheelers! There were 22 people and 16 4-wheelers. We went 32 miles and it took 4 hours! We had a great time! When we were done we cooled off in the pool and had a game of keep away! Saturday was spent at the beach! Mike got up at 6 am to launch the boat so we could park in the marina. It's a good thing he did! It was packed with people! I don't know if he has ever seen 6 am before! That is just way to early for us! :) The afternoon got a little windy, so Mike and CJ decided to fly the kite! You won't believe what happened!! Mike got shot in the wrist! A kid was shooting his BB gun with a beach full of people! The dad apologized to Mike for his sons wrong doing, but still.....what if it hit him in the eye!

All in all a great time was had by all!

This hand shake my mom and Aunt Pam did when they were kids. It was passed on to me and now to Hailey. Hailey spent most of the day teaching Carlie. I could have videoed all day! We know a lot more fun hand shakes that Aunt Daija has taught us! :)

Grandpa King!

Before we left for Bear Lake, I took the kids to American Fork to visit Grandpa Kings grave.We placed a flag on Grandpa's grave, his military grave, his son Brent and his parents Naina King and Bazil Barney. I can't believe it has been 14 years! We miss him terribly!! Carter is not in the picture because he was trying to find Grandpa. He couldn't understand why he couldn't "see" him. When I told the kids it was time to go, Carter said, "but I didn't see grandpa yet." Trying to explain this to him was more than I could handle.
