Not Again!!

Well, I'm sure most of you have heard by now that Hailey broke both her bones in her wrist last Friday. At least this time we don't have to have surgery and pins to put broken bones back together. She also got a huge strawberry bruise on her knee and a fat lip. Thank goodness she was wearing her helmet.

We were hurrying around the house trying to get out of town for memorial weekend when all of the sudden Hailey took a spill on her motor scooter! I took her to IHC where they did x-rays and wrapped her up in a splint until the swelling was gone and they could cast her. We still ended up keeping our weekend plans, and she is one tough little girl! She didn't really complain, not any worse than her dad. That's because she is a girl and girls are tough! Now if it would've been one of the boys (including Mike) there would've been whining all weekend long!! :) Her friends are helping her out at school and I think she is enjoying all the attention. I'm thinking she wants more since she picked the brightest cast color ever! She has to wear this for 3-4 weeks, but it is waterproof! SWEEEEEET!!

Dr. Jackson doing a great job fixing her up.
This is the sling that she has been wearing for a week!

Her friend Aubrie brought her balloons and treats!

Here are some pictures from our trip last weekend to the Sand Dunes!
This is my dare devil Josh jumping.

This is Carter jumping and rolling down the dunes getting sand in everything!

I have learned to dump pockets before doing laundry.

Hailey going for the highest mark on the hill and Josh finding his favorite jump hill.

This is what kept Carter so busy doing while we unloaded and then repacked the 4-wheelers to go to Bear Lake for Memorial Weekend.

If you noticed at the end of the video our tent is gone. (The big tent that is like a carport) We weren't home and I got a phone call from the neighbor saying our tent blew up over the fence and into their yard. It was hooked to the hammock which got lodged in the fence and broke that down also. I can't believe I didn't get pictures of that. It was crazy!! We got the biggest wind story ever. The tent was blocked in with our fifth wheel on one side and the 4-wheeler trailer in front of it, or so we thought. It just amazed us that that happened. The tent is usually tied down to old orange, but because we were doing yard work and using the 4wheeler to haul dirt, it decided to fly. I keep telling Mike to build his shed.

Girls day out.....

GLITTER TOES!
Apparently this is the new thing. My friend saw it on Good Things Utah and said we have to get this done for Mothers Day. It is suppose to stay on for 6-8 weeks. We shall see about that.... but they actually put a gel on the nail and then dump glitter on it. Very COOL!! Even my little 5 year old girls in primary commented on my toes. They really like how they sparkle! I think next time I'll go RED for the 4th of July!
I know.... funny picture of feet! I think toes are ugly, but maybe the glitter will help.

Hey Natalie, has Mindi heard of this? Does her salon do this also?

Another visit from the tooth fairy!

WOW!! Joshua is making a killing off of the tooth fairy! He just lost his 8th tooth! Which is more than Hailey! He actually wanted me to tie a string from his tooth to his remote control hummer and have me drive it, but when he went to get it the battery was dead. :( (Bummer... I think that would've been cool) So, our next option was the door knob. I was getting ready to hook it on when all of the sudden.....

I can't beleve I actually got it on video.

Hailey has a tooth that has been loose for 2 months. I mean not just loose, but practially hanging and she doesn't dare pull it. That is the difference between girls and boys!

Newest member of the fam....Ty

What? Are you kidding me? A Dog?
No way!! I do not want a dog!
Yep... those are the words from Mike. OOPS.... I went ahead and got the dog anyway. My neighbor's Shihtzu had puppies and the kids and I would go over every week to visit. There was so much begging going on that I couldn't resist. Well, now that we have had Ty for a week I'm starting to wonder what I did. After cleaning up poop and putting on the gloves to clean his bum because he sat on the poop... I know too much detail, but I just got Carter potty trained. I don't want to do this again. The next day I called the groomers to get his "potty" area shaved. Needless to say that I am checking into puppy training!!! I must love my kids alot!!

Carter cries when I put Ty in his cage, so I put Carter in with the dog.

Hailey's friend Maddy got Ty's brother Sam
So, now they meet at the park and let the brothers play!

And then there is Josh that loves to torment the dog.

He definitely takes after his dad!!

Road Trip....

Can you believe 4 girls driving to Colorado to sell candles? (Stephanie, Tiffany, Heather & I) Well, that's just what we did! The truck was packed! The drive took 8 hours, but didn't seem to bad since we didn't have any kids in the car. We talked about everything!! Yep... I mean EVERYTHING! It was fun to walk around the expo and see what other vendors were there. We were right next to a chiropractor. What are the odds? I already got a customer order so I have to say it was worth it. Suze Orman (The financial lady) and Stacy London from What Not To Wear spoke at the show. Stacy is the one I went to and she was fabulous!

Can you believe all this stuff? We could not fit one more thing in the truck!

This is what our booth looked like.

I took this picture out of our hotel window.
