Finally!!!

It has been 5 long weeks, but Hailey finally got her cast off!!
The Dr. said she still needs to be cautious for the
next 10-14 days, but everything looks great!
I guess water skiing is out of the question for a while.
She didn't even get that bad of a farmers tan! :)

She said it tickled when they were sawing it off.

She also said her arm feels very light -

almost like it's floating! She's a trooper!!

Piano Recital

Hailey had her piano recital on Saturday....

This is her playing Mickey Mouse March.

Mike videoed & he doesn't have a very steady hand.:)

I ran out of memory space on my camera, so I

couldn't get Hailey doing her duet with Brooke.

So, she just played along with the CD so you could

at least hear it. This is Row Row Row Your Boat!

Way to go Hailey!!! You did a great job!!

It's not very easy playing with a cast. But you did it!

Sharee and her kids are back in town. We met up with them
at the swimming pool. They had just been in California
watching Julianne in concert! I wish I could've been there!!
They also went to Disneyland and had an escort take them
around the park and took them right to the front of the line.
How nice would that be? I guess when your famous you
get all the perks!! That is the only way to experience
Disneyland! All the Hough's are coming in August for a
family reunion so we're hoping we will be able to see them again.

This is the newest addition to Sharee's family.

Carter and Star

Paris and Hailey had a sleepover!
We went for pizza after swimming and rented 3 movies!
The girls stayed up until 1:30am.
It was a good time!!!

Yuba Lake

Last weekend we went to Yuba Lake with the Rosiers. It was fun to try a new lake. It was the first time the boat had been out this season.

Carter missed most of the beach time
since he fell asleep.....
Mikaela and Hailey chillin' on the tube.
Zack and Josh trying to catch a fish.....
Riley and Carter having lunch.....
and of course...Ty!
I think he got a little sea sick on the boat.

Bear Lake season has begun.....

We are very excited for our Bear Lake season to start! Notice that Ty is in the storage compartment of the 4-wheeler! If he is going to be a part of our family, he has to get use to this stuff, right? He did jump out a couple of times and Hailey and Grandma were so nervous that Mike was going to run him over. He eventually just laid down and went for the ride.

I couldn't even believe the kids got in the water! It was freezing! I just put my feet in to feel the water and they got numb! No joke!! The water was only 49 degrees!

I think Ty was so cold he couldn't even move!

We then went over to the swimming pool!
I'm glad Hailey's cast is waterproof!
She gets it off next week! :)

Here are a couple of videos of the kids playing with Ty on the beach!

Notice how Carter kicks water on Ty....

Poor Ty!!

Our fast adventure to Idaho!

Nana made heart shaped cupcakes and Hailey frosted them. This is Papa showing the kids that the ducks come right to the door for food. This is something even Papa looks forward to every year..... waiting for Bert and Molly!
Since Natalie was taking Lexi to Idaho to see Nana and Papa and to get pictures from Uncle Leon, I decided to pull the kids out of school for a couple of days so the cousins could get together! Hailey and Josh thought that was very cool they got to miss school. I picked Natalie up in Bountiful on our way and the van was loaded with treats, blankets, stuffed animals, three car seats, paper & crayons, a dog, and 5 kids! (Yes, I included Ty as a kid, because I still have to pack all his stuff too. ) Thank goodness for Alvin and the Chipmunks in the DVD player!
Jared.....I think Natalie really enjoyed the van ride and you might have to consider it!! :) Never say never!!!

On Monday we left Nana's house at 10:30a and didn't get home until 6:30p! Now that is a full day!! It was a good thing Papa came home for lunch to take care of our dog! Come to find out, Ty and Papa took a nap together before he had to go back to work! Then Papa got home before us and took the dog out again! Thanks Dad!!

We started the day bowling with Pam, Becca, August, Addison and GG as the spectator! Becca came out ahead! She scored a 209!

After bowling we grabbed lunch and went to Tautphaus Park! We thought the kids would love going on the rides. They have the cute little airplanes, the choo choo train, the carousel, ferris wheel and of course...the octopus! Wouldn't ya know it....Carter wanted to go on the octopus! I thought there is no way, you have got to be kidding. After a few times around Carter said, "OK mom I'm done." I explained to him that the ride wasn't over yet. He then said, "just tell the guy to stop it." I was amazed that there were no tears when the ride was over. I think it will be pretty fun to take him to Lagoon this summer.

As long as we had all the kids in the car, we decided to head up to Grandpa & Grandma Heaton's. She was saying what do you think if I bring the green chair up and move this couch. That was all she needed to say... Mom and I looked at each other and said, "Lets get to it!!" She went downstairs with the kids to show them her doll collection and we rearranged her front room and Natalie was the foreman! :) Before we left, Grandma gave them each a doll and she loved her front room.

We ended our trip with a movie!! Kung Fu Panda!! A great time was had by all!! We really enjoyed visiting and seeing everybody!

Thanks Mom and Dad!

Boys and their Toys!

We are in the middle of building a storage room
in the basement and when we pulled everything out
Joshua found a hot wheels car wash
that Mike has had for 20 years!!
Yes, that means Mike bought this when he was 20!
I guess your never to old to buy hot wheels.
Oh wait, he is still buying hot wheels! :)
It sure kept the boys busy!
Now all their hot wheels are clean!

I told Carter to get his pajamas on
and when I walked in his room...
this is what I saw!
67 hot wheels all lined up!
