BIRTHDAY BASH!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!
Hailey doing heavy heavy hang over!

Hailey and her friend Haylee
had a great time decorating (destroying) the house.

The kids could hardly stand it! They were so excited for Mike to come home and see the house! I called him on his way home to see where he was at and when he said the STOP sign just down the street, the kids starting squeeling!! They were running around the house trying to find a place to hide to jump out and say SURPRISE!! Then when we heard the garage door open, Hailey just couldn't stop laughing!! WE LOVE YOU!

A visit from Grandma & Grandpa Heaton

Grandma and Grandpa came into town for Dr. visits, so we invited them over for dinner and dancing. DWTS dancing that is.... and of course we all voted for Derek. We had a great time with them and it's great for the kids to know their great grandparents!!

I am leaving Friday morning to drive to Colorado to do a Scentsy expo and leaving the kids with Mike for the weekend. Grandpa doesn't want the kids to starve while I am gone, so he gave them $ to go out to eat! So nice!!! :) What he was actually really doing was buying Carters love!

This is Grandpa enjoying the fabulous peach cobbler and ice cream that we had for dessert!

After Carter got his money he didn't leave Grandpas side and actually gave him a hug!

Our Idaho Visit....

The kids are off track for a couple of weeks, so we decided to go see Nana and Papa for some entertainment. :) We were in the backyard playing baseball and Aunt Julie and Melissa were in their backyard, so Melissa just passed her baby over the fence so we could take a peak. What a cutie! He's only 8 weeks old, but in 3 months clothes! Then uncle Carey stopped by. He said you won't believe this. You have got to come take a look at my truck. You can see from the pictures that it wasn't good! A $700 dollar fix.
On Monday, we were able to go to moms neighbors and ride their horses. Hailey and Joshua both went for a ride while Carter sat in the car. He wasn't too sure about these big animals. The horses are shedding their winter coat, so the kids got very dirty! But they had a great time.
We also had to go visit the twins, Aiden and Avery. So Adorable! Thanks Britney!! The kids also had fun playing with August and Addison. Look how August poses for her pictures! I think Uncle Leon has taught her well. Our Idaho trip wouldn't be complete without going to Leo's. Hailey actually made a friend that was also up visiting her Nana while she was off track. Come to find out they were from Daybreak. The neighborhood right behind ours! How crazy is that!
We had such a wonderful time and Nana and Papa spoiled all of us! Before we left we gave Papa his birthday present. Another shirt and and a couple of ties.... of course. We love you! Thanks for everything!

Oh.... Joshua also lost his 7th tooth while we were there.

Mickey Mouse March!

Hailey was given this song to memorize for her piano recital in June.

She must love this song, because it only took her two weeks to memorize it! She really enjoys piano and loves her teacher.

The Sand Dunes again....

Tanner and Josh riding the track....
(in the background of the picture)

I wasn't looking forward to going camping again because the weather wasn't looking so good. But it was actually warmer this weekend than Easter weekend. Except it was so crowded. We made it to the guard shack at 9pm and by the time we found a camp site and set up it was 11:30 pm. Yep!! That sounds fun huh. It took so long to find a camp site, but when we woke up the next morning we had set up at a perfect spot for the kids to ride. We didn't know this track was behind us. Josh couldn't wait!! Mike had to fill the gas tank 3 times. He rode all day.

Hailey and McKinna spend a lot of time looking for lizards and finally caught one.

Art Gallery

The 3rd and 4th graders had an art walk gallery at school. We got to walk around and see all the art projects that Hailey has done. This picture was her favorite to do. Splatter art!!! Who wouldn't love that!! This is her best friend Maddie!

These are the 4th graders performing with their recorders. The teachers thanked us for letting our kids practice this at home. Hailey enjoyed it so much. She took the recorder everywhere she went....friends houses, in the car, and to the sand dunes. I'm sure she would play it for anybody if they ask her to.
