Christmas Day!

The Calm....

Before the STORM!!

Carter was so excited to get a skateboard and ramp. After a few days of practicing, he's jumping the skateboard. Definitely my DARE DEVIL! CRAZY kid!
Hailey and Joshua both got I-pod Nano's (didn't get a picture of Josh with his) :(
But I did get a picture of him with his new microscope set from nana and papa.
Playing games with Nana and Papa!

Thanks G.G. for the money! We love getting the unique $2.00 bills! Ty also got a new sweater! He has gotten so large and fat that he doesn't fit into his old one anymore. It seems like that usually happens to us as we get older. :)

The three musketeers wearing crouchet headbands!

Mike helping Josh put in his new brushless motor for his traxxas. Now it will go faster and probably burn up the tires. Man, this is an expensive hobby! But the boys love it!
Hailey and Logan (which looks like a mini version of Jared)
Lexi is really excited about getting a slushie maker! She said it made he her heart proud which I thought was sooo cute! Who wouldv'e thought??
Playing Play-dough
Thanks Jonathan and Daija for the fun present. We all got pillow cases with our names on it and the game SORRY! We missed not having you here with us.:(

What a wonderful time of year to be with the ones you love!
Merry Christmas everyone!
December is filled with dance recitals and school programs!

This year Hailey performed at the Festival of Trees!
I didn't realize she has so much grace.
Good Job Hailey Bug!

This is RUDOLPH!

Look at that face! Doesn't he look adorable! Carter loves to sing songs and did a great job! His teacher told me he's one of the best singers..(I'm sure she says that to all the parents,
but I was sure proud of him) :)

Joshua also had a school program. All the 3rd graders put on a GREAT musical performance and Josh even got to play the guitar... which I didn't get a picture of. Dang! But, he also made me very proud!

Stringham Christmas Party!

LOVE the Holidays

Angel Tree!

Last Saturday we got the opportunity to pick two names off the Angel Tree that are in need of items for Christmas. The kids did a great job looking for things on the list. It's also a very good lesson for my kids and it made us all realize how fortunate we are.
Then SANTA stopped by for a visit!

Afterwards we went to ZOO LIGHTS at the zoo. On the way there, Carter asked if Mickey Mouse or Winnie The Pooh was going to be there? "No, It's the zoo" I said. "Where the animals live." Carters eyes got really big and then he said, "REAL ANIMALS?" I then looked at Mike and realized I have never taken him to the zoo. It is true what they say about the 3rd child. He's left out of everything.:) He was mesmerized by the monkeys and tigers.

It was a very long day, but a great experience. We really enjoyed hanging out as a family.
HAILEY GOT BRACES!!
THE RUBBER BANDS ARE RED AND GREEN FOR CHRISTMAS... OF COURSE!
THE FIRST FEW DAYS WERE MISERABLE, BUT SHE IS USE TO IT NOW.
SHE IS LOOKING MORE GROWN UP TO ME EVERY DAY!

Sports kept us very busy on Saturdays this fall.
We would go from one game right to another.

Soccer has become Joshua's favorite sport.
Things have changed from when he was 5 and wondered
why all the kids kept running back and forth.

Josh loves to play goalie!
Hailey played volleyball for the first time.
I never thought this day would come! I was so excited!! She finally told me I was embarrassing! I did start to become one of THOSE parents. It was just so hard for me to sit still.
I hope she learns to love it like I did.

Countdown to Christmas!

I saw this cute countdown to Christmas at a boutique and thought it would be a perfect craft project for Hailey to do during Thanksgiving break. All you do is get a $3.00 pizza pan from Target and do the vinyl lettering. We also painted a wooden star yellow and glued a magnet on the back to use as the countdown! You can display it on an easle or drill a hole through the top and hang it! Works great! Thanks Hailey! You did a great job!
